Crazy but True

Butterflies taste with their feet. On average, sharks kill 12 humans a year. When they want to hide, polar bears cover their noses with snow. Crazy but true is a staged conference for children and adultsion, which satisfies the insatiable thirst for knowledge of crazy facts. The participating children enter the stage as experts, receive sentences via headphones and repeat what they hear into microphones. The result is a growing list of unusual facts. The durational installation runs for several hours: visitors and children can come and go as they wish. A confrontation between generations involving tragic and comical extremes.

Durational performance

A co-production with Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Artsadmin (London), Kaaitheater (Brüssel), Kunstencentrum Vooruit (Gent)
