Minimal Animal (Own production)
A strange, black and white room with things inside. Better not touch anything! Might be art! Yet the two figures that enter the space find everything interesting. Walk through. Look around. Touch. Listen … And suddenly music begins – unfamiliar music: small pieces of minimal music by Steve Reich and Terry Riley lead to very different scenarios: birds clack a rhythm, gumboot animals assemble around a watering hole, the room transforms itself and with it, so do both performers inside.
