A man finds a photo in his attic and we are already in the middle of the story about Angélique and her strange doll “Klotzkopf” (Blockhead). In the fascinating city of New Orleans with all its colors and sounds, Angélique discovers what it means to be afraid and to pluck up courage. She encounters gigantic spiders, hellhounds and a real vampire. In the end she realizes that you do not need magic to be courageous and that there is nothing wrong about admitting you are afraid.
